Jason and son offshore trip
Ashley Creek
The offshore air was crisp and clean this morning, the kind that promises a great day on the water. And it certainly delivered! Jason and his son proved to be quite the fishing duo, as a steady stream of different species made their way to the boat. While the vibrant groupers and striking red snappers had to be admired and carefully released due to the closed season, the hefty black sea bass provided some satisfying catches, along with a few flat and camouflaged flounders. It was a testament to the rich diversity of life beneath the waves, and a reminder of the importance of respecting fishing seasons to ensure their future.
